FAQS ABOUT REGISTRATION

WHAT TYPES OF CLASSES DO YOU OFFER?

Our two centers offer North Carolina’s best swimming classes for infants, toddlers, and older kids. All curriculum centers on age first and skill level second, from our Baby Swim Classes to our Intermediate Swim Classes. We also have newer offerings available, including Swim Team Prep and Advanced Excel Swim Team, which are targeted toward top swimmers, aimed at teaching them the basics of competition. If you’re trying to determine which class is right for your little one, get in touch with us.

Little Otter Swim School offers age-appropriate swimming instruction to children anywhere between 6 months and 12 years old. Classes are organized by age group. WHEN CAN I ENROLL?

We do not work on a schedule of sessions. Rather, we always have classes going. This means you can have your child start new classes any time there is an opening that works with your schedule. Simply fill out a child swim school registration to get started.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM COMMITMENT REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE?

We always recommend a minimum commitment of two months through a single swim level. This is because, while results vary for each student, it typically takes at least two months to see a real progression in swim skill ability.

HOW CAN I RESERVE A SPACE IN CLASS?

No spaces are reserved until you register online and receive a confirmation email. If you’re interested in getting started, go ahead and register now. This is the best way to book a spot.

HOW DO I REGISTER MY CHILD FOR CLASSES?

For a kid, toddler, or baby swim school registration, simply go to our New Registration page and follow the prompts. Alternatively, you can register in person at either of our swim school locations.

DO I NEED TO GIVE NOTICE TO WITHDRAW MY CHILD FROM THE PROGRAM?

Yes. We request that you give us at least a 30-day notice when you’re ready to withdraw from classes.
